Elmer Casey dies from diphtheria.  Charles Crowley dies in pistol duel in Marcola.  Mr. Nunn shot him in self-defense.  James T. Kirk pioneer of early 1850’s prominent citizen of Junction City for 35 years.  George Albert Nunn shot by Charles Crowley in duel 24 Sep 1907.  James Robert Henderson 19 yrs dies from galloping consumption

Items of note:  The first glass “Made in Oregon” opens in Coburg.  Windows, bottles, mirrors, etc.  12 Sep 1907.  7,000 people read the Morning Register everyday!  Florence (OR) installs gasoline powered city street lamps 15 Sep 1907.  Junction City grants 20 yr franchise for electric railway through town 15 Sep 1907.  Train depot to be build in Eugene for $ 35,000, complete with “smoking room” 24 Sep 1907.
